    • Our Lady Of La Vang Rag Doll

      $41.65

We are so excited to release our very first Our Lady of La Vang doll! Our Lady of La Vang appeared in Vietnam around 1800 when Catholics were being persecuted. While hiding in the jungle, the people would gather to pray the rosary nightly at the same tree. Many of them had also fallen ill from the harsh conditions. One night during their prayers, Mary appeared dressed in the traditional Vietnamese dress, holding baby Jesus, with an angel on ether side. Mary comforted them, and gave them instructions on how to make medicine from the trees to cure their illness. She is clothed in a white dress with pale gold satin trim, an adorable blue overcoat with pale gold satin trim (the overcoat is removable), and a beautiful felt headpiece with a halo of embroidered stars. Mary’s hair is pulled back into a lovely bun. Each doll is hand-sewn and finished with lovely embroidery.

Doll is 12 tall. Cotton and satin trim, all new polyester fill.

    • Our Lady Of Fatima Doll

      $21.65

On May 13, 1917 in Portugal, three small children, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta, were taking their flocks of sheep out to the pasture to an area known as the Cova da Iria.

After lunch, they prayed the rosary, and then a sudden flash of bright white light went through the sky, and when they looked up they saw a beautiful woman that seemed to be full of light.

The Lady told the children that she was the Virgin Mary, and she asked them to come back to the same spot on the same day of the month for six months. then on the seventh month she would show them all a miracle so that everyone everywhere would believe!

On the seventh month, the Virgin Mary appeared, talked with the children, and then to the amazement of the crowd of thousands who came looking for proof, the sun began to dance and move in the sky! This is known as the miracle of the sun, and it is a well documented historical occurrence!

When our Lady appeared at Fatima she asked the children to tell the people to pray the rosary, go to confession, and turn their lives back towards God, who loves them and wants them to have happy lives!

      Meet St. Teresa of Avila!

St. Teresa of Avila (October 15th)

Patron of: those in religious orders, lacemakers, the sick, Spain

St. Teresa of Avila, Carmelite reformer and first female Doctor of the Church is one of the most beloved women of the Catholic Church. Born in 16th century Spain, Teresa lived a life of humor, prayer and mission as she worked towards reform. Her book, “The Interior Castle” is still widely read today, as St. Teresa is considered one of the great contemplative mystics of the Church.

Teach your children about God’s love of humor! Introduce the story of St. Teresa of Avila using the educational insert in the box. Encourage children to consider their ideas about God. Can God have a sense of humor? Does having faith mean being serious all the time (hint: definitely not!). St. Teresa of Avila is also a great Saint to teach children about the different ways we can pray. A fantastic introductory Saint for contemplative prayer!

    • Sacred Heart Jesus (Doll)

      $21.65

      Meet Sacred Heart Jesus!

The feast of the Sacred Heart is celebrated on the third Friday after Pentecost

“Announce it, and let it be announced to the whole world, that I set neither limit nor measure to my gifts of grace for those who seek them in my heart!”
-Jesus to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque

There have been many Saints throughout the years that have had a devotion to the heart of Jesus in one form or another. The devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as we now know it, was given to us by St. Margaret Mary Alacoque who received visions of Jesus in 17th century France. When Jesus appeared, he gave St. Margaret a list of blessings for those that practiced devotion to His Sacred Heart. The list included such wonderful blessings as peace in their families and consolation in all their troubles.

Teach your children about the passionate love of Christ! Introduce the story of the Sacred Heart of Jesus using the educational insert in the box. Introduce children to the centuries old tradition of devotions and encourage them to think about what parts of their faith speak to them the most. Great for opening discussions about love, faith, tradtions and devotions.
